Roberta Graham

British Artist and Designer. Currently working in Sound and Moving Image, her varied practise is anchored by her fascination with the medium of collage and the opportunity it allows for reinterpretation. Interested in the celebration of the ordinary and crushingly boring, her work uses audio and visual montage to re-imagine and memorialise the melodrama of everyday life. Looking closely at the overlooked and engaging with it from satirical, political and often sentimental viewpoints; her work aims to honour the undervalued. Roberta also works as a freelance Semiologist for Brighton based cultural analysts Space Doctors, conducting broad bodies of research over a number of varying themes based within both UK and US demographics. This fascination with emergent culture and its social significance has most recently lead her to writing.
