Adi Halfin is an award winning director and screenwriter. Born in Jerusalem (1977) and raised partly in London, she is a graduate cum laude of the Sam Spiegel Film School, Jerusalem. Her three shorts have traveled the world in prestigious festivals such as Cannes and Berlinale and have won numerous prizes worldwide. Adi has worked as a 1st assistant director in feature films, TV dramas and commercials, where she gained a vast experience in the art of film making, assisting and learning from the best Israeli directors, such as Amos Gitai, Samuel Maoz, Rama Burshtein and many more. In addition to directing documentaries, music videos and commercials, Adi teaches production and directing in film schools, where she has built a unique program that emphasizes the relations between the history of art and cinema.
