Aisha Bolaji is a Nigerian-Irish freelance creative director and visual artist with a diverse range of experience in film and arts management. Aisha studies Film and Television Production at the National Film School, IADT in Ireland. As a filmmaker/director she has done work in narrative and experimental short films, advertisement, documentary and music videos. Her work often takes inspiration from her own heritage and upbringing as well as pop culture. There is a staunch focus on beauty and aesthetics throughout her work. As well as that Aisha is co-founder and head of the visual arts team at The GALPAL Collective (www.thegalpalcollective.com) , an arts and media collective dedicated to the creation, curation and support of works by young queer folk, women, and people of colour. She has varying experiences in film as head of jury of Her International Film Festival, committee member of CHROMA International Film Festival, panellist and screener for the Dublin International Film Festival, and more. She is currently the creative director and band manager for a sweaty, alt rock quartet ‘Long and Greasy’.
