Alix Eve (they/them) is an award-winning trans screenwriter and director. Their work spans different genres and tones, bound by a distinct voice and visual language. Their filmmaking practice centers collaboration - they are experienced with developing work via improvisation and regularly co-write and co-direct. Their films have been screened across the world including at BFI Southbank, the Institute of Contemporary Art and the Directors Guild of America. Their feature screenplay Pumpkin Ratbag was a quarter-finalist at the Big Break Screenwriting Contest and in 2023 they were a participant on the Channel 4 Screenwriting Programme.
