Bianca Caderas was born in 1990 in Switzerland. She received her degree in Fine Arts (Film) from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) in 2017. Her graduation short film Living Like Heta (co-directed with Kerstin Zemp and Isabella Luu) was screened at numerous festivals.
In 2018, Bianca moved to Hamburg and began studying Film at the University of Fine Arts, where she completed the short film Jeroboam. Matta and Matto, co-directed with Kerstin Zemp, marked their second collaboration. The film was screened at over a hundred festivals within its first year and won several awards, including “Best Swiss Short” at the Gässli Film Festival 2024 and „the edge of your seat“ Award at Ann Arbor Film Festival 2024.
Bianca and Kerstin are currently working on their new animated short film Spicy Lasagne Banana Milkshake.
