Engel Stam (1998), born and raised in Amsterdam, grew up in an artist household where she developed a love for storytelling at an early age. After finishing high school, she got herself an internship on a big Dutch filmset whereafter she continued working as a an assistant director and casting director for different film and television projects. Currently, her focus is on developing her own work. Her first documentary, titled 'The Nest', will soon be released in collaboration with VPRO and aired on Dutch television. Currently she is screenwriting for a Dutch TV show and developing new projects in both documentary and fiction.
