Aleksandra Bilic is a creative producer, film maker, script writer and founder of Page She – a video project that helps to tackle the misrepresentation and lack of female voice and gaze in the media. She champions work which asks tricky questions and challenges its audiences. Her recent work examines issues that are a result of displacement; for her it is of utmost importance to champion and facilitate platforms for new discourse to develop. She has worked on films such as Smash and Grab: The Story of the Pink Panthers, Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer and has made work for The BFI, Channel 4, BBC, We The Economy, Vice, Boiler Room, and many more. Victoria is a versatile filmmaker with an intimate documentary approach, cinematic sensibility and a keen, curious eye for passion, rhythm and the surreal, which pushes Victoria around the globe discovering a wide range of topics.
