
Jordan Walker (Ngāti Kahungunu ki te Wairoa, Ngāi Tūhoe, Ngāti Porou, Ngāi Te Rangi) is a Takatāpui creative producer, writer, and community arts advocate from Tūranga nui a Kiwa, Te Tairāwhiti. Through Maraki Productions, Jordan works at the intersection of Indigenous storytelling, access, and relational practice, bringing kaupapa-driven production to screen, stage, and community.
TAKAPAPA is Jordan's most personal work to date, navigating the layers of gender within te ao Māori to receive their pūhoro. The film premiered as part of Auckland Pride in February, and has screened at TILDE in Naarm and Wairoa Māori Film Festival.
