Valentina Khodnevich is a young female director and writer originally from Russia based in London. She specialises in experimental media and narrative storytelling, with a focus on exploring human behaviour and questioning social norms and morals.Over the past year, she did her foundation in Art and Design at UAL and BA in Filmmaking at MetFilm School. She has already directed several short films, documentaries, fashion films, and dance films. Her graduation film “NIEB” has been selected as a quarter finalist at Indie Shorts Awards Cannes 2023, and selected for a APEX Film Awards. Moreover, her earlier short experimental documentary “The Game You Play” that explains Dr. Eric Berne’s theory about psychological manipulative human games have been screened at Film Shortage, Beyond the Short 2023.Currently, she lives in London and works as a freelance director for fashion films and music videos. Moreover, Valentina develop her practice in Video Art and dedicates herself to independent passion projects with the potential to make a meaningful impact on the world. Valentina's current focus revolves around themes such as censorship, deportation, refugees, and matters of human justice.
