Veronika Bolotina is a Belarusian-German writer and director who began her filmmaking journey at the age of 18, after moving to Germany to pursue her passion for cinema.
She is a recipient of scholarships from both the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the DAAD, supporting her MA studies in the UK. Her work has been featured in international talent labs such as the Hessen Talent Lab, and screened at festivals including Aesthetica, Interfilm Berlin, Lichter Filmfest, and Comic Con.
In 2022, she received a scriptwriting grant from Hessen Film & Media to develop her debut feature film, I Can’t Change Anything, which was later selected for the TFL NEXT "ScriptLab Screen of Tomorrow and holding BFI FFC Scholarship.
Based in Berlin and working internationally, Veronika is currently developing two feature films, writing short stories, and collaborating with fellow creatives on various artistic projects.
