Alexandra Green

Alexandra is a director and choreographer based in London. She has worked internationally across stage and screen collaborating with industry heavyweights such as Gucci, Mulberry, Virgin, Tate Modern, Adidas and A Cold Wall*. Green approaches each brief searching for an artistic, original, unexpected and visually interesting way in - whilst staying true to her striking aesthetic. She believes that we use movement and film to celebrate what it means to be human. To tell stories. Movement is a clear catalyst and influencer to her work, not only from the physical action on screen but through thorough consideration of the movement of the camera. Alexandra is a physical thinker and through her work aims to tell stories in an original, unexpected and aesthetically interesting way, exploring ideas about bodies in space and time and reflecting on the public and private spaces experienced. Fascinated by humans, our relationship to each other and the world we inhabit, she wants to celebrate humans by putting a magnifying glass on interactions within society in the hope of challenging preconceived ideas surrounding identity, race, gender and sexuality and revealing the lived experience and truth of them. Alexandra captures a full body visceral experience and connectivity that bypasses the conversation of how we think we should be, and gets straight to who we really are opening us up to joy, drama, sexuality, tenderness, tension and everything in between. Ally is represented by Bullion Productions.
