Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez comes from a large, vibrant family of five sisters. Her parents emigrated from Mexico, instilling in her a rich cultural heritage.

She has two decades of experience in film as a professional makeup artist, including the last seven years as actress Michelle Rodriguez's personal makeup artist. This provided her invaluable behind-the-scenes insight, working alongside luminaries such as Terrence Malick, Steve McQueen, and Joey Soloway, which fueled her desire to direct, write, and produce. Fernandez has a daughter and resides permanently in London. She made her directorial debut with 'Dick Bradsell Espresso Martini', a micro-doc that captures the legacy of the cocktail’s creator through the perspective of his daughter. She is currently developing a couple of projects, including a micro-doc titled 'Teddy Girls', which explores the first post-war proto-punk female youth subculture from 1950s Britain, and 'My Bloody Valentine Hex', a romantasy feature film.
