Jana Frost

Jana Frost is a London-based artist, world-builder, and director.

Her work is shaped by growing up between cultures in Eastern Europe and later working across different countries, which sparked her interest in liminal spaces, emotional displacement and symbolic storytelling. Rather than working from fixed narratives, she builds physical worlds that reflect inner states and psychological tension.

Before moving into directing she worked extensively with collage and cut-out animation, constructing paper environments and animating them frame by frame. This material-first approach continues into her film work, where sets are treated as emotional landscapes rather than backdrops.

Godless Man marks her directorial debut, bringing together her background in collage, installation, and symbolic world-building into a fully realised film.
