Small Chops drops us into the reunion of Chinwe and Leanna, two Black British Nigerian women who reconnect after being separated by the demands of adulting. Seeking to spice up their day, they hit the streets of London in search of the oldest red telephone box. Their adventure takes a turn when Chinwe meets Adam, a mysterious stranger who changes the course of their day. As they navigate this encounter, what starts as a friend-date evolves into something more thought-provoking. At the telephone box, the friends face a situation that speaks to a wider issue – how does society respond when Black women go missing? Small Chops’ message is about sisterhood and the urgent need for awareness and change in addressing a crisis that often remains invisible.
