Mirroring the tumultuous nature of grief, the piece depicts the violent oscillation between darkness through anguish, regret and mania; and lightness through yearning, nostalgia and tenderness. Still/Life seeks to illuminate the complexities of grief, revealing that even within the most violent and unforgiving experiences, there exists a profound and ethereal beauty.
