Bojana is the latest film by Lena Milović who grew up on the island Als in Denmark with parents from the Southern part of Jutland and Montenegro. In Bojana Milović explores how the difference of cultural backgrounds can affect the attitudes to modern teaching methods and the best ways to support children.

Bojana, the local hand ball coach is put to the test when parents of the little league team start questioning her stern pedagogical methods. Matches turn into arena's for opinions on Bojana's behaviour – both as a coach, but also as a human being.

Bojana is forced to make a choice: will she suppress her temper and change herself to adapt to more culturally acceptable coaching methods, or will she stand up for her beliefs and values, and ultimately, who she is?

Lena Milović 'As I child I grew up with parent’s from different cultural backgrounds, and I clearly remember how I was culturally confused and sometimes embarrassed with my father who acted in a different way than all the other Danish parents did. With the short film PARADE I want to express that cultural confusion and division I had as a child, which stems from my own experience with my father as a handball coach to my little league team. I remember the awkward and resounding silence from the other Danish parents, when my father was expelled by the handball referee from yelling too much - just because he had a different way of expressing his temper.'
