Part comedy, part thriller, SLASH is a conceptual performance of Poetry Hel's poem of the same name. Set in a picnic scene, the speaker is retelling the story of how, moments before and unbeknownst to them, she watched a couple in their garden through hole in the fence. On their side, life looks calmingly pedestrian and peaceful; fancy glasses of gin and tonic, mature interactions, a sense of contentment. But a light, summer moment is darkened by the stranger watching.
