Waterfall highlights the suffocation of existing in spaces that weren't made for us.

I wanted to show the suffocation of existing in spaces that weren't made for us. The mermaid isn't a fantasy, she's every person gasping for air in situations that drain them dry. The office becomes an aquarium in reverse, where suffering is background noise. We watch her drown in oxygen while everyone else goes about their day, because that's what we do, we look away. We don't open up about giving up. We keep self-doubt to ourselves to maintain this 'everything's fine' facade.
